This week, schools all over the country celebrated Read Across America Day, in honor of the late Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Even the first lady joined in the fun by reading The Cat in the Hat to a big group of kids in Washington!  Did you celebrate the day?  What’s the best book you’ve read lately?

Legendary groundhog Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, indicating that on this Groundhog’s Day we have six more weeks of winter.  According to experts, this is the 99th time Phil has seen his shadow…and he did not see his shadow only 15 times in the history of this tradition!
